Olive : Newborn

I am just beginning to dip my toes into posed newborn photography, so when my good friends Rebecca and Dave were expecting a little baby girl, I was so excited that they asked me to do her pictures. I don't have a studio, so I traveled to their home in Grand Rapids, MI with all of my gear in tow. I sent them a prep guide in advance which included tips for how to keep sweet Olive sleepy so we could wrap and pose her to get these images. Everyone did a great job and baby slept so well. I love this family and I couldn't be happier for them.
I wanted to make sure we included Alexander in some of the photos. He is going to be such an awesome big brother and I can't wait to see how they bond as they grow together.
Below is my first ever attempt at the potato sack pose. It is a composite of two different images and we made sure this was done safely with mom and dad supporting Olive. Safety first!
